BETA and Interact Club Awards

In addition to school-wide volunteer days and donation drives, Counterpane students often organize their own events through both the Beta and Interact Clubs. Upper and Lower School students 4th-12th grade can join the National Beta Club which is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. Beta Club encourages students to be a part of a community of leaders who are positively impacting the world by serving others.

We also have the Interact Club for Upper Schoolers, which as a facet of the Rotary Club, organizes at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

"The greatest gift we can give our children is the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence."
Dr. Maria Montessori
